#ThisTimeImVoting is the European Parliament’s institutional, non-partisan communication action, independent from any political party and ideology. It’s objective is to promote democratic engagement in the European elections, not by telling people who they should vote for, but rather by promoting the act of voting itself, the act of engaging in the democratic process as well as the act of doing so in a conscious and fully informed way. The #EUandME campaign’s main goal is to launch a dialogue with young Europeans about the impact of the EU on their daily lives and to demonstrate, through people’s stories, how the rights and benefits enjoyed in the EU improve their lives.
The On Our Watch project brings together Civil Society Organisations working on all kind of topics. As representatives of and in direct contact with citizens, organisations have a strong role to play in holding the European Parliament accountable to the public. By joining forces in the context of the #EUelections2019 (23-26 May), On Our Watch offers a comprehensive overview of the key issues that European citizens care about.
